On July 14, 2026 TradeZella raised Essential from $29 to $35 a month ($288 to $315 a year) and Pro from $49 to $59 a month ($399 to $531 a year), and added a new Ultra tier at $99 a month or $891 a year. Existing subscribers keep the old rate only while they never change plan, never switch between monthly and annual billing and never resubscribe after cancelling. TradesViz has not raised its price since launching in 2020: Pro is $19.99/mo ($14.99/mo billed yearly) and Platinum is $29.99/mo ($22.49/mo billed yearly), with a free plan for stock traders and a free 7-day trial on paid tiers.

TradesViz, hands down. It is not just depth, it is usefulness. A surface-level journal may say you lost during the 9:30 session and won during the 10:30 session, but that can be misleading without more context: what was the expectancy, was the win caused by one trade, was the loss from many smaller trades, what if you held longer, what if you reduced size? TradesViz answers those questions. Stopping at surface-level metrics can become misinformation.
Yes. Export your TradeZella trades to CSV and import that file into TradesViz for a more accurate journaling and analytics experience. TradesViz does not connect directly to TradeZella as a data source.

Mistake: confusing a guided interface with better trading analysis. Some comparison articles reduce the TradeZella vs TradesViz decision to which product feels easier or looks more polished. That is the wrong question for serious traders.
A clean workflow can help with onboarding, but it does not automatically help a trader find leaks, test exits, understand risk, analyze options, compare setups, review MFE/MAE, simulate alternatives or quantify behavioral mistakes.

A journal should not just look organized. It should expose what is costing you money.
Missing capabilities
The concern is not whether TradeZella can log trades. It can. The concern is what happens when a trader needs to interrogate the data beyond a guided journal workflow.
If you cannot ask a custom question and get a computed chart/table back from your own trades, you are stuck with the reports the product already decided to build. That is a problem when the leak is specific to your setup, time window, account or behavior.
A fixed report flow is fine for onboarding, but serious review needs custom dashboards, custom widgets and pivot/grid analysis. Without that, traders end up exporting data or accepting shallow summaries instead of building the exact review surface their process needs.
Options traders need strategy detection, greeks, payoff, historical chain simulation, options flow and execution review together. If those are split or missing, spread performance becomes harder to trust and harder to improve.
TradesViz connects the journal to real-time screening, options flow, seasonality, fundamentals and SEC13F research. Without those tools, the journal describes past trades but does less to help generate and validate the next ideas.
Prop-firm traders need live drawdown, daily loss, consistency, trailing limits and challenge progress tied to the actual account. If compliance is handled outside the journal or only as a light note/tag workflow, traders can miss rule pressure until it is too late.
A trader who cannot test strategy rules inside the same analytics platform has to rely on memory, screenshots or a separate tool. That makes it harder to separate an actual edge from a good-looking journal entry.
TradeZella pricing after July 14, 2026
On July 14, 2026 TradeZella moved from two plans to three and raised the price of both existing tiers. These are its own published numbers.
Nothing shipped on the day of the increase. TradeZella’s own announcement justifies the new prices by pointing backwards at work already delivered and already paid for. Existing subscribers keep their old rate only while the subscription is never touched: upgrading, downgrading, switching between monthly and annual, or resubscribing after a cancellation re-prices the account at the new rates. Moving to annual billing to save money costs a subscriber the old price.
There is still no free plan and no published free trial, so the cheapest way to find out whether your broker imports cleanly is $35, or $315 committed up front. What the Essential tier buys at that price is one active trading account, 10 strategies, 10 trade replays a month, 500 AI credits, no AI agents and no automated backtesting beyond a single trial run. Unlimited accounts is the $891/yr tier.
TradesViz has never raised its price. Pro has been $19.99/mo ($14.99/mo billed yearly) and Platinum $29.99/mo ($22.49/mo billed yearly) since launch in 2020, alongside a genuinely free plan for stock traders and a free 7-day trial on every paid tier. In those same six years the platform added options flow and an options flow screener, seasonality, pivot grids, custom dashboards and AI widgets, AI Coach, AI Query, AI Chat and AI Notes, multi-asset simulators, an options chain simulator, a rule-based backtester, a real-time screener, fundamentals and SEC13F research, prop-firm rule tracking and trade-plan adherence analysis. Every one of those arrived at the price subscribers were already paying.

TradesViz documents the analytics stack: every single-number stat, every table column, and every chart family. Serious traders need definitions they can audit, not black-box scores or fixed reports.

I have been using TradesViz for a few months and it is a fantastic tool. Prior to subscribing, I was spending hours on xls trying different tables and layouts and only getting frustrated (or overcomplicating things!). After only a short time of using TradesViz, I can confirm that this platform is exactly what I have been looking for. The importing process via MT4 file is extremely easy and the automated charts with entries are amazing. In my opinion, the TradesViz platform is truly the Ferrari of journaling software available today. Once you are under the hood, you begin to realize that in fact what sets it so far apart is all the advanced analysis at your fingertips. Such as the ability to combine multiple portfolios, live charting, and much more. Their support is world-class, in my case personally, I needed integration with Trend Spider’s backtesting engine. What I imagined might take weeks was literally accomplished overnight. Factor in rock bottom prices and you have all you need for whatever you're searching for. Newer traders will find that one of the most basic recipes for success is meticulous record keeping, simply observing your account profit and loss go up, or just down as the case may be, is the first step on the road to ruin if your serious about trading.
