Common Setup Categories

Category Examples
Momentum Breakouts, gaps, high-of-day
Mean Reversion Oversold bounces, fades
Pattern Flags, wedges, head & shoulders
News Earnings, catalysts
Technical Support/resistance, trend

Why Tagging Matters

Without tagging, you see:
- Overall win rate: 48%
- Overall profit factor: 1.3
- "I'm marginally profitable"

WITH tagging:
- Breakouts: 62% win rate, PF 2.1
- Reversals: 35% win rate, PF 0.8
- Gap fills: 55% win rate, PF 1.5

Now you know: focus on breakouts, stop reversals!

Tag Hierarchy

Best practice:
1. Setup Type: Breakout, Pullback, etc.
2. Market Context: Trend, Range, News
3. Quality Grade: A+, A, B, C
