Funnel charts are typically used in sales, but in trading, they visualize the "filter efficiency" of a strategy.
Trading Funnel Concept
- Stage 1 (Top): Total Trades Taken.
- Stage 2: Trades that didn't stop out immediately (Signal Accuracy).
- Stage 3: Trades that hit 1R profit.
- Stage 4 (Bottom): Trades that hit final Profit Target.
This visualization helps identify where a strategy fails. If the drop-off from Stage 1 to Stage 2 is huge, your entry timing is poor. If the drop-off is at the bottom, your targets are too ambitious.

Dashboard > Custom Dashboard > Add Widget > Funnel Chart. Configure stages based on trade outcomes (entry quality, 1R hit, target hit). Use Trade Plans to capture stage data for more detailed funnel analysis.
